This column used to be titled "CPSA Happenings". This quarter I'll revert back to a focus on to some new things that will be happening in your Coal Preparation Society of America (CPSA).

60% More operating tips and best practices
40% More maintenance content
30% More Hands on Demonstrations

Top 4 Future Priorities:

1. Plant operating tips, troubleshooting, & optimization - avg. rank 2.93
2. Instrumentation controls, automation, & process controls - avg. rank 3.21
3. Coal cleaning, separation, & dewatering process - avg. rank .3.64
4. Pumps, slurry systems, & piping - avg. rank 3.79

Expect to see new workshop offerings in future eblasts and this journal.

Second, the Board Of Directors have added two new members to replace Van Davis who has retired after years of serving the CPSA:

John Casey - The Daniels Company
Josh Peters - Alpha Metallurgical Resources

WELCOME TO THE BOARD, we appreciate your willingness to serve our membership and to helping us meet our mission of Advancing the Knowledge of Coal Preparation.

Finally, we are working on rolling out a new website update in the next couple of months that you will find much more intuitive and easier to use. In the next issue, you will see some highlights of the changes and a brief tutorial in this space. In the meantime, if you missed any of the presentations at our CoalProTec conferences or workshops, the videos are on our website: https://www.coalprepsociety.org/Videos.aspx
