The 102 workshop focuses on computational methods to analyze, assess and optimize the performance of process units, circuits and plants. Concepts of mass and volume balancing will be presented along with tools for performance assessment and optimization. Examples will include partition curve development and modeling. Optimization based on constant incremental quality and micro-pricing will be discussed and demonstrated with respect to performance and coal blending practices.
